Well Told Grants does not ask you to sign up. What you save on My grants stays in your own browser. We count visits with Google Analytics, and if you ask for an email alert we keep your address only to send that alert until you stop it.

What stays in your browser
My grants, the Save buttons and the “For you” panel on the home page keep your choices in your browser’s local storage: your organization type and topics, the grants and foundations you saved, the pages you viewed and the time of your last visit. None of it is sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data for welltoldgrants.com removes it, and it does not follow you to another browser or device.
Visit statistics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. It loads when you first scroll or click, or a few seconds after the page opens, and it sets cookies to tell visits apart. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell data about visitors.
Email alerts
If you ask for an alert (a deadline reminder, a note when a notice is posted again, or a weekly email of new grants), we store your email address and what the alert is for. Nothing is sent until you confirm the first email. The emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery service. Every email has a link to stop that alert or all of them, and stopping an alert deletes it. An alert you never confirm is deleted after a week. We never share or sell your address.
