What the grant funds

The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $13,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds. This NOFO aims to provide technical assistance (TA) and service delivery support for integrated HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment programs in the Zambézia Province of Mozambique while providing TA for specific gaps in data quality and utilization, and opportunities to strengthen health information systems (HIS) throughout the province and country. In particular, this NOFO aims to provide 1) targeted TA to the Government of Mozambique (GM) to strengthen data collection and use for continuous HIV/AIDS program improvement, and 2) TA to the Serviço Provincial de Saúde (SPS) of Zambézia Province and/or other local or government organizations to successfully implement and monitor their increasing service delivery program responsibilities, as these are gradually transitioned from clinical partners to GM.
