What the grant funds
The core work of this cooperative agreement centers around NIC’s Correctional Industries Initiative. This initiative includes a blended-professional development curriculum, Correctional Industries Leadership Training, which targets preparing and delivering established ILT and VILT curriculum. Within this initiative, the Correctional Industries Leadership Training curriculum has been targeted for conversion into a VILT. This curriculum includes a learner’s guide, facilitator's guide, participant and facilitator handouts and applicable PowerPoint slide shows. The course content does not require revision other than correcting any grammatical or minor errors; the design, layout, and virtual facilitation detail for each content and activity module for this course will be addressed in this project.
