| What to submit | Non-profit arts organizations, preferably with programs for disadvantaged youth, should submit proof of 501(c) 3 status, along with latest auditors report and financial statements. Revenues will be raised through sales of branded and co-branded merchandise. All of the net proceeds from sales will be distributed by the foundation to the co-sponsor. Initial proceeds from a solicitation to friends and family are being distributed to pre-designated arts organizations approved by the directors. It is contemplated that net proceeds from unsolicited sales will be distributed in $1000 increments to arts organizations in the proximity of the area codes where the preponderance of merchandise is shipped. If the directors feel it is necessary, an advisory board will be created to vet prospective grantees. |
