Through NADPRP, APHIS partners with eligible entities to provide financial support for high-value projects to prevent or mitigate the introduction and spread of foreign and emerging animal diseases that pose significant risks to U.S. agriculture. The purpose of the NADPRP FY 2027 Industry Preparedness Funding Opportunity is to enhance producers’ and industry readiness for high-consequence foreign animal disease (FAD) outbreaks by strengthening prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery knowledge and capabilities. APHIS makes funding available to support projects in animal disease and pest preparedness and response priority topic areas that are identified through consultation with eligible entities and stakeholders. Additional details about the program are available on the USDA APHIS NADPRP website. This competitive funding opportunity is open to livestock producer organizations and veterinary organizations.
