## What the grant funds

The United States has supported SNA-Danab logistically and operationally for over a decade. The SNA has come to rely heavily on the expertise of the SNA-Danab to lead and plan operations. At the same time, the African Union Training Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) has begun the process of transitioning its mission to the SNA. This program will continue operational support to SNA-Danab while also adding strategic capacity to the SNA HQ staff.
