## What the grant funds

The project will play an integral role in sustaining engagement with Nicaraguan society by building resilience and capacity to prevent drug use through inclusive cooperation. Moreover, the project seeks to reduce drug consumption in regions with high rates of drug use through material investments and capacity-building programs in underserved areas and communities. The project aims to raise awareness of the dangers of drug use, reduce stigmatization of prior drug users, and provide Nicaraguan youth with tools and knowledge to prevent and reduce drug abuse in their communities.
