OES invites proposal submissions from accredited U.S. post-secondary education institutions (primary awardee), research institutions (sub-awardee), and non-profit organizations (sub-awardee) (see section C. Eligibility Information) for the design and implementation of the US-ASEAN Green Building Innovation Program.

## What the grant funds

The goal of the program is to help train a new generation of Association of South-East Asian Nations’ (ASEAN) urban planners, architects, and engineers in the latest techniques, materials and architectural designs to improve the air quality inside and outside of buildings, reduce the full lifecycle carbon footprint of the building and construction sector, and improve building siting and resilience to better adapt to climate impacts.
