## What the grant funds

ISN/CTR sponsors foreign assistance activities funded by the Nonproliferation, Antiterrorism, Demining and Related Programs (NADR) account, and focuses on mitigating weapons of mass destruction (WMD), related delivery systems, and advanced conventional weapons proliferation and security threats from proliferator states and non-state actors. The Special Projects Team raises foreign partner capacity to identify and respond to the Russian Government’s active measures attacks that seek to undermine longstanding nonproliferation norms. The Russian Federation has a particularly notorious history of using WMD agents to target adversaries for assassination.
