The Central Africa Program is administered by the Service’s Africa Branch and focuses on developing the capacity of protected area and conservation managers, at all levels of implementation, in order to sustain healthy wildlife populations and benefit those communities with which they co-exist. Applications awarded under this announcement will be funded through a Participating Agency Program Agreement (PAPA) between the US Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Central Africa Regional Program for the Environment (CARPE).
