The Planning, Assistance and Implementation – Small Watershed Grants (PAI SWG) Program promotes community-based efforts to develop and implement conservation strategies to protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed that support all the goals and outcomes of the 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement and any future watershed agreements; and 3. The Innovative Nutrient and Sediment Reduction (INSR) Grants Program supports efforts within the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed that use innovative strategies to vastly accelerate sub-watershed and/or regional-scale implementation of nutrient and sediment reductions with approaches demonstrated to be successful. The successful applicants selected under this RFA will coordinate with the successful applicants selected under RFA EPA-R3-CBP-23-14 to ensure maximum effectiveness of the SWG and INSR grant programs.
