## What the grant funds

This scope of work, is to develop implementation plans for the identified change targets. In the criminal justice field, there has been a tremendous amount of focus on identifying what produces positive outcomes – programs, policies and practices (evidence based practices). At the same time, there has not been that same level of focused on how to implement those efforts throughout all staffing levels of an organization. As a result, this is often where initiatives can fall short of desired outcomes. The focus on the how, is known as implementation science, the study of the components necessary to promote the adoption of evidence-based interventions, increasing their effectiveness and positive outcomes.
