## Who can apply

- Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification)

Non-government, non-profit organizations (including think tanks, civil society organizations), educational institutions and independent media that are based and legally registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina are eligible to apply. American or other donor country organizations and individuals are not eligible for grants under this program. Grants are generally awarded only to organizations.

## What the grant funds

Polls show that in BiH belief that women should have equal rights with men has declined by 20% since 2015. We want to reverse that trend and to make women equal participants in economic, civil, and political life in BiH. This program supports NGO efforts to reach that goal. We encourage ideas that are creative and engage citizens at the grass roots level in improving their communities.
