| Restrictions | SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED TO ONE OR MORE QUALIFIED AND WORTHY INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE PURSUING COLLEGE EDUCATIONS. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO INDIVIDUALS ATTENDING SOUTHWEST TEXAS JUNIOR COLLEGE AT UVALDE, TEXAS; THE SUL ROSS STATE UNIVERSITY RIO GRANDE COLLEGE AT UVALDE, TEXAS; OR TO ANY PROGRAM FOR TRAINING NURSES (VOCATIONAL OR OTHERWISE) IN UVALDE COUNTY, TEXAS. THE TRUSTEE HAS DISCRETION TO GRANT SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS ATTENDING OTHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER LEARNING IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. GRADES WILL BE CONSIDERED IN DECIDING TO CONTINUE AID TO A STUDENT AT THE END OF EACH SEMESTER.THE WORD "SCHOLARSHIP" AS USED ABOVE IS DEFINED IN INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE REGULATIONS 1.117-3(a) AND (d). |
